Recognizing the significance of EIFS in energy-efficient construction, Steve G. Smithwick immersed himself in the EIFS Industry Member Association (EIMA), a trade organization founded in 1981. His leadership and influence within the association have been pivotal, including serving as Vice President and, more recently, President of the EIMA Board of Directors in 2021 and 2023. He was the Head Coach for Calvary Christian School’s high school boys’ basketball team for nearly two decades, mentoring young athletes on the court and in life. Smithwick continues to contribute to his community, serving on the Board of Directors for Calvary Christian School and supporting local initiatives that promote the well-being of older adults, including The Gardens Assisted Living & Memory Care and Calvary Community Retirement and Living Center.

A proud husband of 51 years to his wife Donnie, Steve is a devoted father to four married children and a grandfather to twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
